Look Inside Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka's NYC Townhouse

No matter how he fares as host of the Oscars later this month, Neil Patrick Harris will be going home a winner.

He and his husband, David Burtka, recently moved into a newly renovated townhouse in Harlem, along with their 4-year-old twins Gideon and Harper, and their dogs, Watson and Fred. The five-story abode, which they show off in the latest issue of Architectural Digest, is full of NPH's favorite things, including, of course, his family, but also plenty of state-of-the-art kitchen equipment and counter space for cooking, and vintage art about magic.

Harris and Burtka, who tied the knot in Italy in September, plan to stay a while in their new digs, across the country from their old residence in Hollywood. They resided in L.A. while Harris starred in nine seasons of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
"I assumed the show would be a short chapter," Harris told the magazine. "But the plan was always to come back to New York when the show ended and raise our family."
Not a bad place to grow up.
