Lindsay Lohan Catches Last-Minute Flight to L.A. for Trial

Someone's cutting it close!

Lindsay Lohan is hustling to make her mandated court appearance set for 8:30 a.m. PT Monday morning in Los Angeles because she skipped out on several flights heading west from New York City over the weekend. Thankfully, she managed to hop a private jet courtesy of energy drink Mr. Pink early Monday morning.

Initially, the embattled star was supposed to be flying on Saturday to get to the West Coast in time for her probation violation trial, but reportedly ditched that plan for a Sunday flight instead. All seemed well when she arrived at JFK airport Sunday evening but then she got off the plane moments before takeoff and was sent scrambling for some way to get herself to Los Angeles.

E! News reports that she managed to find her way onto a private plane and is set to land just one hour before that 8:30 a.m. trial time. The aircraft is reportedly making a pit stop in Las Vegas to refuel.

"Thanks Mr. Pink for the private jet see you all in a few hours in LA," Lindsay tweeted in the wee hours.

The 26-year-old star is set to land at Van Nuys airport in the Valley, which is 20 miles away from Airport Courthouse where she needs to be, according to TMZ. And she'll need to tackle that journey during rush hour. Let's hope for her sake that Mr. Pink has a chopper too! (UPDATE, 8:50 AM: Lohan's private jet was reportedly diverted to LAX, and she landed there at 8:35 AM)

Lohan removed herself from that Sunday evening flight because "she supposedly felt anxious because she was traveling alone," according to E! News sources.

LiLo reportedly is being accompanied by two friends, not her mother, Dina Lohan, as had been initially planned.
