It's a Wrap (Party) for Star Wars

For fans of Star Wars, December, 2015 can't come soon enough.
That's when the next film to take place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away will hit theaters. And while we don't know much about the film's plot (a begrudging tip o' the cap to director JJ Abrams for keeping things under wraps), we do know that many cast members recently got together for a wrap party in London, marking the end of a shoot that may have began in early April.
The original trilogy's big three -- Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher -- were all in attendance, as were Daisy Ridley, Andy Serkis, and Abrams himself.
It's difficult to garner too much inside information from the shots, taken as the revelers went to their cars post-party, but a few things were rather obvious.

First and foremost -- Mark Hamill has shaved his beard. Hallelujah! For months, the actor has been spotted with a bushy, Rutherford B. Hayes type facial hair leading many Star Wars fans to speculate that Luke Skywalker must have one helluva beard in the new film. It's an interesting coincidence to see the beard gone at a wrap party of all places.

Good news -- Harrison Ford appears to be walking just fine. After an on-set injury to Ford put production behind schedule, many feared the film would be delayed and that Ford may suffer long-term consequences. We're not doctors, but from the looks of things, the ever-grumpy Ford appears to be moving A-OK, a relief to his legion of fans.

Carrie Fisher, who, of course, played the formidable Princess Leia in the original trilogy is seen here paling around with Andre' Balazs, who has been connected with Uma Thurman, Cameron Diaz and Kylie Minogue. The photo inspires a slew of questions, not the least of which is -- what Sith Lord forced Balazs to wear that suit?

But it wasn't just the old guard out on the town. A lovely-in-blue Daisy Ridley, who has an unspecified role in the upcoming sci-fi epic, joined her iconic costars as did King Kong and Lord of the Rings legend Andy Serkis (below), also said to have a role in hotly anticipated flick.

CinemaBlend recently reported that cast and crew received a letter thanking them for their work during the film's production.
