Zac Efron shared lots of laughs with Seth Rogen while filming "Neighbors," but it wasn't all fun and games on set. Zac broke his hand while shooting a fight scene with James Franco's little brother, Dave. The actor opened up to "The Insider With Yahoo" correspondent Keltie Knight with the details of what happened.
"We were in the middle of a fight scene, and there's this part where he pushes me into a fireplace and I hit my head and afterwards I get furious," Zac said. "At one point I hit my hand really hard on the wall or the floor, I can't really recall, but I knew my hand was broken instantly."
The 26-year-old actor didn't stop shooting the film, though, , potentially worsening his injury. Zac admitted, "I kept going in the take ... I made it worse."
And he didn't get to the hospital until the wee hours of the morning. He explained what doctors did to fix his hand.
"It sucked, it was a rough night. I went to the hospital and had a metal plate put in my hand at 3 a.m. that night. At work the next day."
Well, Zac is definitely a trooper, and it's impressive that he worked through his injury. Check out this video to see the actor explain what it was like shooting a scene using his broken hand, and tune in to "The Insider With Yahoo" for the latest in entertainment news.
