Yahoo Entertainment Holly Madison’s Countdown to Baby: ‘It’s Time Now,’ She Says
Update: Madison's hospital check-in time was revealed Monday evening. "I just got clearance to go into the hospital tonight at 10 p.m.," the Las Vegas resident told In Touch Weekly. "I couldn't be more thrilled! [Boyfriend Pasquale Rotella] and I are so excited to meet our baby girl."
Holly Madison is likely just hours away from meeting her daughter.
The former “Girls Next Door” star has revealed that she will check into the hospital Monday afternoon or evening, just one day before she is due with her first child with boyfriend Pasquale Rotella, a baby girl.
"It's time now,” she told the Las Vegas Sun on Sunday. “We have decided to induce the delivery if necessary … It still might take up to three more days, though."
And although Madison, 33, is a frequent tweeter, don’t expect a 140-or-less character play-by-play of her daughter’s birth. “You'll know when the baby is born, but I'm not going to be tweeting during the delivery," she also told the paper.
As for their little one’s name, the former Playmate and Rotella, a party promoter, sound like they may be giving the world another Apple or Suri. "We have her name picked out, but that has to remain a secret for now,” she continues. “It's such an unusual and difficult name I have a feeling we’ll add something simpler once she's arrived safely in our world."
On Saturday night in Las Vegas, Madison, dressed in a baby blue dress, hit her last red carpet before becoming a mom for Cee-Lo Green’s Loberace at Planet Hollywood. “It was a great night,” she wrote on her blog afterward, “and now I’m just excited getting ready for the baby’s arrival!”
The next night, Madison and Rotella celebrated one of their last evenings alone as just a twosome. “Top of the World at Stratosphere,” she wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of Vegas at night. “Last romantic dinner before baby!
Madison, who infamously dated Hugh Hefner for years until 2008, announced her pregnancy in late August … just weeks after she announced she wanted a baby so badly, she had started the adoption process. Before getting pregnant, the couple had been an item for about nine months after meeting in Sin City, where she was performing in “Peepshow.”
