Hilary Duff Dishes on Her First Tinder Date

Hilary Duff spent Monday night at the bowling alley with friends, plus one other very important person.
The actress, 27, explained on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Tuesday that the mystery guest was a guy she met... on the popular dating app Tinder! She brought her pals along for support.

"We went bowling so we didn’t have to talk too much, but we did talk a lot actually," Duff explained. "He was cool. He brought a friend and I had some friends there, so it helped. He used to be in editing for reality shows. Now, he's an actor and he just wrote a play. He's an interesting guy."
When Seacrest groaned at the revelation that the guy named Tom is an actor, Duff laughed, "To be honest, I don’t really want an actor either... I think he has a few jobs."
She also noted that the night ended without a kiss — "No! Absolutely not" — and it's TBD whether she will give the guy a second chance.
"I don't know how I'm feeling," she confessed. "We'll see how it goes."
Hilary Duff: 'I Don't Know If People Are Meant to Be Together Forever'
Duff, who separated from husband Mike Comrie last year, said she'd never been on a true blind date before. Her dates have typically always been a friend of a friend, until she decided to sign up for Tinder.
"It kind of started out to be a joke with some of my girlfriends," she noted. "I was like, 'Explain this whole thing to me because it's kind of blowing my mind.' We were swiping and it started out to be kind of a joke and then I was like, 'I'm gonna join Tinder,' and they were like, 'What?! No way, you can't.' And I was like, 'Why can't I? Yeah, I absolutely can.' I never thought anything was really going to happen. I was talking to a few of the guys and they were really normal."
The Younger actress has another Tinder date later this week, but this time she plans to go solo.
"I'm just a Tinder animal!" she joked. "I had my Tinder training wheels on for my first date. Now it's smooth sailing."
