The Tis is a Mrs.

Ashley Tisdale broke big-time bridal news on Tuesday, revealing via Instagram that she and her betrothed, Annie Automatic musician Christopher French, had tied the knot a day earlier.

"Best day of my life! Introducing Mr and Mrs French Sept 8, 2014," the High School Musical star wrote.

French also posted the wedding photo — in which he's walking arm in arm with his bride, who's wearing a cap sleeve dress with a full skirt and a flower crown — and shared a similar sentiment. "Best day ever," he captioned the pic.

The surprise news caps a romance that dates back to 2012.

Tisdale, 29, announced her engagement in August after French popped the question on the 103rd floor of the Empire State Building in New York City. Soon after, she showed off her engagement ring — a traditional-looking mega-carat diamond with a halo of smaller diamonds on the band.

In November, the couple was feted at an engagement party at L.A.'s Bagatelle restaurant and Tisdale seemed to be practicing for her big day by sporting a floor-length white gown. She posed in the photo booth holding up a "Future Mrs. French" sign. The actress celebrated her bachelorette party in May with a bunch of pals that included her HSM BFF Vanessa Hudgens. For several days the girls partied on a yacht off the coast of Miami. Hudgens also served as a bridesmaid on the big day.

Friend and HSM co-star Zac Efron tweeted his congratulations to the newlyweds following Tisdale's announcement.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest last December, Tisdale said there was no big secret to her relationship; they just work well together.

"I think from the moment that [we] met, I just knew it," she said on On Air With Ryan Seacrest. "I was like, 'OK, this is the guy,' and he knew the same thing. It doesn't get any better. I just can't explain it. It's all natural between us. With other relationships you're just kind of trying too much to make it work."

It's the first wedding for both.
