Justin Bieber is approaching his 21st birthday, but the guy still likes playing dress up.
While out in Los Angeles on Wednesday, the "Heartbreaker" singer tried to mask his identity by holding his two MTV European Music Awards trophies — silver globes with the network logo on top — in front of his face. Of course you could completely tell it was him. If the tattoos and droopy shorts didn't give it away, only a limelight-loving celebrity would be covering his or her face with an award.
It's like: Don't look at me… but do check out these cool statuettes I received for my smooth vocals.
And we can't exactly explain why the EMA trophies either. The event was back in September, so we haven't a clue why he chose them to take for a spin this week.
While the debate is still out about whether the Canadian crooner stuffs his Calvins, one thing we know for sure is that The Biebs likes disguises. This is just one of several he's exhibited over the years and, as you'll see, he's done better previously as far as creativity — and coverage…
The Gas Mask: In March 2013, he dodged the London fog with a little help from this accessory.
Face of Chanel: In April 2013, he named himself the face of Chanel — or "Channel," as he misspelled it on his Instagram page.
His Oscar Moment: We'll wager that he'll never win an Academy Award (sorry, Beliebers!), so why not dress up like one like he did here, at an L.A. beach, in 2012.
B is for Bieber, V is for Vendetta: In July 2013, he wore a Guy Fawkes mask, which was a plot element in 2005's V for Vendetta, starring Natalie Portman. It's unclear what he was protesting — or if he knew it's a symbol of protest.
Oh, Biebs — you international man of mystery you.
