Drake Says Amanda Bynes’s Tweets About Him Are ‘Weird and Disturbing’

After months of silence, Drake is finally speaking up ... about Amanda Bynes, that is.

The 26-year-old rapper, who graces the cover of XXL magazine's 150th issue, reveals that he didn't give much thought to the emotional and erratic tweets from the former child star. In fact, he isn't even sure it's really Amanda sending them.

"I don't even know who is doing that or what's that about," he explained. "If that is her, I guess it's a little weird and disturbing. It's obviously a behavioral pattern that is way bigger than me."

You can say that again. Amanda's messages ranged from calling the musician "ugly" (on June 10) to "gorgeous" (on July 19, just days before she was hospitalized). But, perhaps her most famous tweet was the one sent on March 21, in which she announced to the world, "I want Drake to murder my [lady parts]." (She used a more official term than we did.)

But whether it's Amanda or not, Drake has a hunch why the eyebrow-raising tweets continue. "Whoever is behind it, whether it's her or somebody else, they know people are paying attention, so they keep it going," he speculated.

And while he might have a point, Bynes has bigger problems these days than Drake labeling her messages as "disturbing." The 27-year-old troubled star has been on her extended, court-ordered 5150 psychiatric hold since July 22 when she reportedly started a fire in a stranger's driveway near her hometown. Amanda's next hearing is coming up Friday, August 9, and her parents have filed for conservatorship in the meantime. Hopefully, in addition to gaining control of her assets, they'll also take charge of her Twitter feed.
