Macklemore has been named Yahoo Celebrity's Best Person on the Internet This Month for January, but that doesn't mean we didn't have a runner-up — or rather, two of 'em! Here are five reasons why Tina Fey and Amy Poehler kept everyone buzzing at the beginning of 2014.

1. They Killed It at the Golden Globes: Say what you will about the Globes — any many of you do (quite vocally, in fact!) — but if there's one thing that just about everyone agrees on, it's that Tina and Amy were the perfect hosts. Once again, the duo slayed the hosting gig with their quick wit and killer comebacks.

2. They Skewered George Clooney: The pair's best line at the Globes came in their opening monologue when they nailed Clooney with a jab about his dating habits. Describing George's movie "Gravity" they cracked, "It's the story of how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age."

Although the 52-year-old actor admits he's able to take a joke (as long as it's good!), he says that the former "Saturday Night Live" stars better sleep with one eye open, for fear of his planned comeback. "They should be looking over their shoulders," Clooney told Yahoo Movies at the junket for his upcoming film "The Monuments Men." "And if they're watching right now, just know this ... I'm coming after both of you."

3. Tina's Hilarious Ride in a Car With Jerry Seinfeld: Yep, Ms. Fey is the latest comedian to take a ride with Seinfeld as his special guest for his online-only Crackle series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee." Needless to say, in the new episode, which just posted on Thursday (titled "Feces Are My Purview" ... don't ask, just watch!), Tina's hilarious. For Fey fans, it's pretty much the best thing ever.

4. Amy Touchingly Said Goodbye to Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe: Thursday was also a big day for Amy — on last night's episode of "Parks and Recreation" (for which she won the Golden Globe this year, we might add), she said goodbye to two of her funniest cast members — Rashida and Rob.

Rashida's reportedly tied to executive produce three new single-camera comedy projects through her company Le Train Train with "Will & Grace's" Will McCormack; a show for Fox about a middle-aged woman that works at a bank tentatively titled "Stuck," a show for HBO about a nail salon called "Claws," and an online dating show for NBC tentatively titled "A to Z." Meanwhile, Lowe is set to work on a project for ABC loosely-based upon his own life moving from the Midwest to Malibu as a teenager. No one's ever said that Amy doesn't surround herself with greatness.

5. They're Hosting the Globes Again Next Year: When the Hollywood Foreign Press Association asked the ladies to host the 2014 show, they asked if they'd be down to do it again in 2015 as well. And, thankfully, the answer was "yes!" The fact that we have a full year to look forward to their next gig almost makes our exhaustion from this year's awards season feel a little more manageable.
