Allison Janney may have joked that her best kiss on Emmy night came from her dog, but we know differently.
The Mom star, 55, won her historic seventh Emmy last night, but the Internet is much more fascinated by her tall, dark, and handsome date at the big show. The lucky fella is Philip Joncas and he's 35. (High five, girl!)
There are more interesting factoids about Joncas other than that he's 20 years her junior. A Catholic University grad, he initially worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (in web production) before heading out west, where he's a production coordinator for IATSE Local 871. He first worked with the West Wing alum as early as 2012 on the film The Way Way Back.
Despite there being big buzz now over Janney's "mystery man," their relationship is not new. They've been stepping out together for over a year. We're talking hand-holding, snuggly, PDA-filled stepping out.
At Sunday's Emmys, Janney, who tied Ed Asner and Mary Tyler Moore with seven performer wins (Cloris Leachman holds the title with eight), planted a kiss on her beau, as she did last year, and talked him up in the pressroom.
"I've been doing the Pilates, and I have three dogs that I hike with, and a boyfriend who loves to work out so that helps," the 6-foot stunner said of her secret to a killer body.
After the show, she posted a photo of them standing outside the Staples Center, which is next to the Microsoft Theater, where the Emmys were held. She has her shoes off in the shot and he's holding a McDonald's bag.
"Such a great night! So grateful for #Emmy #7!!!!!!! Now if we could just find a ride home!" she wrote.
Not long after that, she posted a photo of one of her three dogs giving her a congratulatory kiss with the hashtag, "#bestkissofthenight." And while, hey, that does look like a great kiss, we suspect that the award for best smooch really came from that guy on her arm.
