How Jessica Simpson Is Shaping Up for Her Wedding Day

Self recently grilled Gwyneth Paltrow's trainer Tracy Anderson about how Gwyneth gets her super-hot "Glee" body. But Anderson also trains the soon-to-be married Jessica Simpson, who is working out in advance of her upcoming wedding.

And while fitness junkie Paltrow does Anderson's program six days a week -- religiously! -- Simpson is ramping up slowly, starting with four days a week.

So how is Anderson whipping 30-year-old Simpson into shape?

"I am not using anything except a mat and dance aerobics. Eventually she'll get to a place where even if she's traveling she has a DVD and can do it six days a week," Anderson told HealthySELF.

With Simpson, Anderson is careful not to push her too hard, too fast.

"I am not trying to get her to change the way she lives. She grew up in Texas -- she enjoys a certain lifestyle! I don't want to give her a body that's dieted down. Right now my focus is getting her to be great at the Method," Anderson said, referring to her approach of empowering the small muscle groups to achieve a long and lean look.

Simpson has been spotted in workout gear since her engagement to former NFL player Eric Johnson, 31. But the singer-actress-fashion mogul is taking her regimen one step at a time.

"I'm not just going to kill her. I want her to make a real change she can keep up," Anderson said. "I admire her for wanting to do this the healthy way."

Simpson said in December 2010 that she's hoping to be married by the following Christmas, which means that she has about nine months to meet her goals. Good luck, Jessica!
