Kylie Jenner Makes Her Modeling Debut
If you thought there was already quite enough Kardashian action happening across the USA right now, then you would be mistaken. Turns out the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan wasn't going to be left out of the family business! Following in her big sisters' footsteps, Kylie Jenner, 13, made her modeling debut this week with a series of glam fashion photographs.
With Nick Saglimbeni behind the camera -- the same photographer who shot her 15-year-old sister Kendall in those controversial bikini shots -- Kylie models a selection of (thankfully) age-appropriate gowns including a funky mini dress and glamorous ball gown.
And though she shares her half-sisters' long dark hair and good looks, she's inherited her height --she's 5'9" -- from her dad, ex-Olympian Bruce Jenner.
Thousands of 13-year-old girls dream of becoming models when they grow up, but young Kylie has the insider advantage of free publicity courtesy of her older siblings. All three Kardashian sisters posted shots from Kylie's shoot on their websites along with glowing praise for their baby sis.
Khloe wrote: "Nick Saglimbeni just sent me these shots of Kylie from her very first fashion shoot and I almost died when I saw them!! I cannot get over how stunning, elegant and grown up the baby of our family looks!!!! Every time I look at these photos I'm smiling from ear to ear, I'm just so proud of my Kylie."
Kim agreed: "I can't get over how stunning Kylie looks in these shots. I am a very proud big sister!"
Kourtney blogged that she was also proud of her little sister, but was careful to downplay any sibling rivalry that might arise between Kylie and Kendall by giving them both equal praise: "I can't tell you how proud it makes me feel to see my little sisters looking so beautiful and mature and seeing them grow, follow their passions and explore new opportunities."
With that kind of endorsement, the kid's got a great head start on the competition!
