Charlize Theron assists security guard who suffered seizure at Oscars

Charlize Theron to the rescue!

The actress had a jam-packed Oscar night. In addition to helping open the show by performing a dance number and presenting an award, the 37-year-old beauty assisted a man who suffered a seizure on the red carpet.

As Theron made her way down the red carpet during the pre-show – looking stunning in a white Christian Dior Haute Couture gown and showing off her cropped ’do – she rushed to the aid of a security guard who collapsed outside Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre amid the mayhem, reports E! News.

The “Snow White and the Huntsman” star, who attended the show with her mother, was one of the few people near the man when he fell. They attempted to help him up, but someone fetched a doctor instead.

A rep for Theron did not yet reply to omg!’s inquiry into the incident.

Theron exhibited no signs of drama shortly after when she helped the Oscar host, Seth MacFarlane, open the show by doing a dance number with Channing Tatum to “The Way You Look Tonight.” She also looked pretty as a picture later in the evening when she presented with Dustin Hoffman.

The South African beauty later made the scene at Oscar afterparties. In our timeline of the hot ticket Governors Ball, we reported that Theron, who showed up with her mom to the soiree, continued “to turn heads as guests comment on ‘how hot she looks.’”

But she’s clearly so much more than a pretty face.
