Blake Shelton's 'Voice' artist performs with both arms in casts after taking a fall during live show

It was "Challenge Week" on The Voice Monday, which meant the top 10 artists were tasked with singing a song from a different genre than their own. However, for Team Blake Shelton's powerhouse singer Wendy Moten, she was challenged with more than just singing a country song.

During last week's live results show, Moten scared everyone when she took an unexpected fall and face-planted on stage. While she later came back to tell host Carson Daly she was just a little bruised, on Monday, we found out it was a little more serious than that.

"My right elbow is broken. My left hand is fractured at my wrist. So I fell down pretty hard," Moten shared with Shelton, who replied, "Even though your arm is in a cast, I'm so happy that you are okay."

Even though Moten had casts on both of her arms, it didn't stop her from slaying her performance of Dolly Parton's "Jolene." Fellow Voice coach John Legend shared, "I was just transfixed. It was, like, religious for me," while Kelly Clarkson stated, "I mean, first of all, I know what your week has been like because I asked. I mean, kudos for you for even being on the stage right now and getting this done. You know what it costs, and you know what you want, and it's worth it. And also to come out here as if nothing happened to you, and you're perfectly fine, and to tell a story like that in such a sorrowful way. It was so beautifully sad. Which is, like, my favorite kind of music. Well done. "

As for Moten's coach, Shelton shared, "By the way, America, I've never seen a better example of strength and perseverance and fearlessness standing on this stage. Not losing focus of what she came here to do, which is to win this thing. We got to go to the finale, Wendy. Come on."

BLAKE SHELTON: So you had the fall on stage. Then, the next thing I know, is you're over telling Carson you're OK. Next thing I know, we were going to do rehearsals that night and you were in the hospital.
