Friday
Country: Get ready, country music fans. Blake Shelton is ready to bring out the bar stools and no-frills saloon ambiance when he performs Friday at Acrisure Arena as part of the "Back to the Honky Tonk" tour. The throwback tour aims to transform arenas into wild country bars, and has received critical acclaim, making Billboard's mid-year Top Tours list in 2023.
Last year, Shelton surprised fans of the popular reality TV show "The Voice" by resigning from his position as a vocal coach. He had served in this role for 23 seasons. He is still on TV in his role as an executive producer of "Barmageddon," a celebrity game show on the USA Network, which he produces in collaboration with former MTV personality Carson Daly. Following the conclusion of the second season of "Barmageddon" in January, fans of the show expressed concerns that it might be canceled, and took to social media platforms pleading with the network to renew it.
Shelton has sold 15 million albums and had 28 No. 1 singles. His music has earned upwards of 11.5 billion global streams.
