The wait is over! Blake Shelton’s duet with his girlfriend Gwen Stefani has officially been released and it’s even better than we imagined it would be. The track, titled “Nobody But You” is found on the country singer’s new album, “Fully Loaded: God’s Country,” which came out on Friday.

“This was one of those songs where the more I heard it, the more I fell in love with it. I also realized how important it is for me and where I am in my life,” the 43-year-old admitted, adding that the song’s writer, Shane McAnally wanted to ensure the song landed in the hands of someone who can relate to the lyrics.

And it was those magical lyrics that changed everything about the song. Originally, the “Hollaback” singer wasn’t going to be on the track. It wasn’t until Blake heard the song himself that he knew she needed to be a part of it. “It fits my story. I was about to go in and record when I decided that it needed Gwen on it — because it is our song. I think it’s magic.”

In the opening of the song, Blake hints that a possible engagement is around the corner. “Don’t have to leave this town to see the world / ‘Cause there’s something that I gotta do / I don’t wanna look back in 30 years and wonder who you’re married to,” the lyrics read.

“Wanna say it now, wanna make it clear / For only you and God to hear / When you love someone, they say you set ’em free / But that ain’t gonna work for me,” the couple sings together.

This isn’t the first time Blake has been outspoken about his future with his longtime girlfriend. Just days ago, he opened up to Entertainment Tonight about his “stronger than ever” relationship and how fans already think he’s engaged. “Anybody that thinks I am married to Gwen already, I love it,” he joked. “My God, who wouldn’t want to be married to Gwen Stefani?”

And a proposal could be right around the corner, too. When appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week, the country star was jabbed for waiting so long to pop the question. In fact, Ellen suggested that Blake could propose to Gwen while guest-hosting the show.

“I could. You’re right,” he replied. “I’ll save that for you and this show.”
