Will Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani be Engaged Soon? A Contestant From 'The Voice' Predicts They Will
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been a couple since 2015. They seem like they are really in love. Could Shelton be getting ready to propose to Stefani soon? A contestant from 'The Voice,' Rose Short predicts he will. She told US Weekly about a moment between Shelton and Stefani behind the scenes.
According to Short, Stefani was getting her makeup done and Shelton was just standing there staring at her. Short also said that Shelton was looking at Stefani like he was proud of her. She said it was a moment between the couple and judges that no one else saw but her because there was so much going on at the time. She said she just happened to look over and saw the 'moment' between the two lovebirds.

Blake Shelton started dating Gwen Stefani right after he divorced Miranda Lambert. Stefani's divorce from the lead singer of Bush, Gaven Rossdale was final in 2016.
As for the pending engagement, Short said, "Let me tell you something, it's coming. It's gonna happen. He's smitten by her. He's going to ask. He is in love with that lady. You could see it all over him."
They haven't denied that they both have strong feelings for each other, either. The couple met on 'The Voice' during a time when Stefani was a judge as well. Stefani is a part-time judge while Shelton is a full-time judge.
The pair met and fell in love while they were both going through divorces with their then spouses at the same time. Stefani admits she has never been more in love than she is with Shelton. She told Hoda Kotb during an interview with her on Sirius XM for the 'Today Show,' "This is the most what I thought love was supposed to be. And it's the purest in the sense that it's all the storybook of love. The giving and the receiving, it all feels very even. It's pretty magical and I feel really blessed. I feel like I'm bragging when I talk about it, and I am, because I'm so lucky, and it was so unexpected."
For Thanksgiving every year, they fly the whole Stefani family and all of the Shelton family to Blake's bed and breakfast he owns in Oklahoma. According to Stefani, there are like 30 people in total, counting the two lovebirds, and they all stay at Shelton's bed and breakfast for five days.
Stefani also said they have been doing this Thanksgiving all together like this for the last four years, or even longer. She said they all fly out to Oklahoma. She also said, "It’s just pretty incredible. We have fun, we all cook together. It’s fun.”
She continued, "We’re taking all the Stefanis and then the Shelton bunch are gonna meet up there and just literally [spend] like, five days away.”
Stefani and Shelton really are serious about each other. According to US Weekly, they are even buying a house together in October. And right after they took that next step in their relationship, the rumors of engagement for them were started when Stefani was wearing what looked like an engagement ring at the 2019 People's Choice Awards.
When asked about the ring and if they were engaged yet, Stefani told E!News, "It might be a real ring — a real diamond — but it’s not a wedding ring, no. When I have something to say, I'll say it."
Even if they aren't engaged yet, they certainly aren't afraid to show their love for each other. Whether they are out and about in Los Angeles or sitting at Shelton's Oklahoma ranch relaxing together.
What's sad is that Stefani won't be a judge on 'The Voice' next year. She is getting replaced by Nick Jonas. However, She says, sharing his own prediction, that she won't be away from the show too long. He thinks she will be returning to 'The Voice' one day soon.
