Blake Lively's low-cut sweater and corset dress combo gives off major vintage vibes

For her first appearance on the press tour of her new film All I See is You, Blake Lively was looking very old fashioned, in a good way. The blonde beauty attended a press conference for the movie Tuesday at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., in a demure look that’s character is only caught upon closer inspection.

Lively’s 18th century style outfit starts and end with her dress. The beige number appears to be long sleeved, but upon closer inspection, it’s actually two pieces. The dress is strapless with a laceup corset bodice, a silhouette taken straight out of the history books (or off the set of Outlander). The simple frock’s shin-length skirt is wrap style and flowy. She creatively wore the dress over a sweater of the same color.

Her heels were pointy-toed and brown with ankle straps. She accessorized with lots of simple earrings, and butterfly rings. Her makeup was simple and her hair was loose and wavy.

While her first outfit seemed like a modern and less modest version of something worn on Little House on the Prairie, Lively has a sense of style that means she can be ready to churn butter one minute (in a chic way), and impossibly glam the next.

For her next stop on Thursday, she attended a screening of the film in London looking old Hollywood glam.

She had a bright red lip that contrasted with her fair skin, blonde faux-lob and white skirt suit. Her blazer had flower embellishments at the hips and the pencil skirt had a high slit. To add some pizzazz— which her other outfit lacked — she put on sparkly pointed-toe pumps.

The look was a major departure from the day before, but one thing that remains — her style is unique yet always classy.
