Valentine’s Day was not only by us mere mortals; the celeb world was extra cheesy on social media yesterday for the occasion.

Kanye West shocked everyone by posting a few sweet messages to his wife, Kim Kardashian West, yesterday. The rapper hasn’t made a single social media post in months, and he didn’t hold back!

Former President Barack Obama sent an adorable message to his wife, Michelle Obama, along with a photo of them hugging in paradise.

And several stars took mushy to the extreme with a few PDA posts. We especially enjoyed Sarah Hyland’s sexy kiss with her boyfriend, Wells Adams.

Turns out Lively wasn’t around for the prank. The actress is one of the many celeb guests of honor at New York Fashion week, and yesterday she made a Valentine’s Day splash in the front row at the Michael Kors show. Feeling festive, Lively wore a bright red patent-leather Michael Kors trench coat and accessorized the look with a red Louis Vuitton bag and Louboutin heels with red hearts. The fashionista was clearly in the V-Day mood, and she let us know on Instagram.
