Blake Lively made fast friends with Big Bird when she stopped by Sesame Street, and revealed Tuesday how meeting him was especially meaningful to her.

Lively, 30, recalled being teased by her elementary school classmates because she had the height and coloring of one of the show’s most prominent characters. Luckily, this early memory didn’t appear to put a damper on her time filming an upcoming episode of the HBO show.

Finally. I have friends.

And that seems about right. After all, Lively is a big fan of characters, whether they’re from Sesame Street or part of their extended family, like the Muppets, or even the Disney crew.

Just take a look at some snapshots from her colorful Instagram feed for proof.

Last month, Lively shared a photo of herself with Elsa from Frozen, a Disney princess she resembles, taken at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. She couldn’t help but (adorably) compare herself to the favorite character of 3-year-old girls everywhere.

Who wore it better…

She also officially offered to play the Beast, from Beauty and the Beast, for Disneyland.

Lively couldn’t leave the park without snapping a photo with the brand’s official mascot, Mickey Mouse. The All I See Is You star was excited, to say the least.

Play. It. Cool.

Last fall, Lively graced the cover of Love magazine alongside Kermit the Frog, which would have made Miss Piggy jealous, except for the fact that Lively posed with her, too, inside the magazine.

The lovers, the dreamers and me.

A throwback that Lively shared in June 2016 shows that even when she was being teased for the looks that would one day help her rise to celebrity, she had a love for real characters.
