Blake Lively is celebrating two decades of friendship with America Ferrera.

The Gossip Girl star, 36, shared a carousel of snaps featuring the Ugly Betty alum on Monday as the pair attended a special screening to celebrate 39-year-old Ferrera’s role in the Barbie movie.

They were also joined at the event, which was held by SAG-AFTRA in New York City on Friday, by their former Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel. And Lively used the occasion to celebrate her special friendship with Ferrera.

The mother of four captioned her Instagram post from the event, “I was so happy to celebrate my denim sister @americaferrera She’s the heart and soul of @barbiethemovie because she’s the heart and soul of everything she’s a part of."

Lively continued, “I’ve known her for 20 years. Since I was 16. I’ve watched her live, grow, soar, fall, make, break, push, fight, win, create, forge, disrupt, way make, lead, lead, lead."

The Age of Adaline star also referenced Fererra’s famous Barbie monologue: “That speech she gives as Gloria felt as close to real as anything I’ve ever seen on screen. Because that's who she is. She’s spectacular, passionate, inspiring and full of heart in her own life."

Lively concluded her tribute, “I can’t wait to watch her sweep awards up across her living room floor. No one deserves it more … for a lifetime of brilliant work. It’s one of my life’s honors to witness her show so many women not only what’s possible, but HOW it’s done. I love you sister. Always.”

And referencing the 2005 movie in which they starred together, she added, “Pants = Love. Love your sisters. Love yourself.”

Ferrera wrote in the post's comments section, “🥹 When your girl gives good hype. I love you forever sis. 🥹 💕."
