The Black Keys Pull Out of Woodstock 50

Due to a “scheduling conflict,” Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney will not be performing

Woodstock 50, celebrating 50 years since the iconic festival, will take place in Watkins Glen, New York from August 16-19. Artists announced to perform at the fest included the Killers, Dead & Company, JAY-Z, Chance the Rapper, the Black Keys, Santana, and more. Now, the Black Keys have announced they will have to pull out of the festival.

“Due to a scheduling conflict, The Black Keys will unfortunately need to cancel their set at Woodstock,” a statement from the blues rock duo’s publicist reads. “The band wants to let fans know as soon as possible and before tickets go on sale.” Tickets for Woodstock 50 are currently slated to go on sale April 22; a replacement has yet to be announced. The Black Keys recently shared their first new music in five years and announced a tour with Modest Mouse. Their last LP, Turn Blue, was released in 2014.
