The Black Jacket Symphony to perform classic Elton John album

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Black Jacket Symphony is returning to the Mobile Saenger Theatre in September and will perform Elton John’s “Madman Across The Water.”

The symphony will perform the album at Saenger on Friday, Sept. 13.

“Relive that moment with a live concert experience unlike any other as The Black Jacket Symphony recreates ‘Madman Across The Water’ live in its entirety—note-for-note, sound-for-sound!” the release said.

The Black Jacket Symphony has performed more than 40 classic rock albums over the past decade, and ‘Madman Across The Water’ will be added to the list in September.

Tickets will be going on sale this Friday at 10 a.m., according to a release. They’ll start at $32.

Tickets can be purchased online, at the Saenger Theatre Box Office or the Mobile Civic Center Box Office.
