Björk has officially released “oral,” her new collaboration with Rosalía. The profits from the track, which was produced by Sega Bodega, will all go towards fighting excessive fish farming in the singer’s home country of Iceland.

In an Instagram post, Björk shared that the she initially wrote and recorded the vocal track for “oral” about 25 years ago, when she was just around the same age that Rosalía is now. Taking its cues from dancehall music, Björk added that the Catalan pop star’s “experiments with the genre and her incredible voice made her an obvious guest for the song” over two decades later. (Lest we forget Rosalía also replicated Björk’s iconic swan dress for Halloween just weeks ago.)

“Industrial salmon farming in open net pens is horrid for the environment,” Björk continued in the post. “The farmed salmon goes through immense suffering, and it causes severe harm for our planet. This is an extraordinarily cruel way to make food. The fight against the open net pen industry is a part of the fight for the future of the planet… We can still reverse this.”

In the Carlota Guerrero-directed music video for “oral,” the two singers go toe-to-toe in a very aesthetically-pleasing martial arts match. From the looks of it, they’re both doing all their own stunts, showing off their best kicks, punches, and front walkovers before they each wield a katana. By the end of the video, Björk and Rosalía combine forces to take down the cameraman — perhaps a dig at the people in power who shamelessly watch the disastrous side effects of their selfish decisions unfurl. Watch the music video for “oral” below.

Earlier this year, Björk shared a remix of Shygirl’s “Woe” ahead of her orchestra-assisted Coachella performance, during which she used more than 800 drones to create a light show above the stage. Rosalía’s latest release was her June single “TUYA.”
