Another Bachelor Nation couple is engaged, and celebrity jeweler Neil Lane is dishing on all the details about their engagement ring.

On Jan. 4, Bachelor in Paradise alum Brayden Bowers got down on one knee at The Golden Bachelor Wedding and asked former Bachelor contestant Christina Mandrell to marry him. Bowers and Mandrell's relationship was revealed during the season 9 finale of Bachelor in Paradise in 2023.

Speaking to PEOPLE, Lane says the ring Bower's proposed with is "set in 18k rose gold. It centers a princess cut diamond that's surrounded by a two-tiered halo of small, round brilliant-cut diamonds to a diamond band." He adds that the ring, designed and signed by him, has over 109 diamonds with a total approximate weight of 1.75 carats.

"Brayden loved everything about the ring from the romantic glow of the rose gold with its retro vibe and symbolism of the princess-cut," Lane says.

Lane adds that when he first arrived at The Golden Bachelor wedding he spent time catching up with all the former couples that were attending. He says that as soon as Bowers saw him he came over with Mandrell.

"We just started hanging out but it was hectic with all the former Bachelors and Bachelorettes showing off their rings," he says. "Christina looked at me and Brayden and put her hand up, and was like when am I going to get engaged? It was all very sweet as she had no clue that he was going to promise that night."

"Brayden was just so joyous and they were just holding on to each other the whole night," Lane continues. "Then all of a sudden they disappeared and then I heard all this applause. He had just gotten down on one knee and proposed."

Lane adds: "Christina was in total shock she just kept on holding up her hand showing her ring. She was glowing ... they held on to each other the whole night there was just so much love between them."

At the wedding, Bowers also exclusively told PEOPLE how he and the Bachelor producers coordinated the proposal during the live Golden Wedding broadcast.

He initially had the idea to put the ring on a slice of pineapple pizza after the two spoke about wanting to make pineapple pizza in Italy. However, after talking to the show’s producers, they collectively came up with the idea to propose with a ring by Neil Lane during the live special.

“From the experiences we both had like we both came into this show just wanting love,” Bowers said. “We both had hard, challenging roads in different ways, and we were both, I feel like, misunderstood. And it's like two misunderstood people that understand each other.”

Bowers added that he knew “from the moment that” he met Mandrell that he loved her.

“It's like they say, when you meet someone, you know, you know. And it's like I've never known before,” Bowers said. “I've dated before, but I've never known before. And then I meet her, and it's like there's no doubt in my mind.”
