Imagine a world where mythical creatures are seen as inferior as they fled their homelands that are torn apart by war inflicted by the greed of man. The fae and other mythical beings are now tethering on the edge of being citizens and immigrants in a world where humans don’t want them as part of their society.

The show stars Cara Delevingne and Orlando Bloom as the main protagonists. Bloom plays the role of Rycroft Philostrate (Philo) who is a half-blood.

Philo is a war veteran who sympathizes with the fae as they are forced to survive in the darkest and grittiest areas of the city unable to live as their kind. Delevingne plays the role of Vignette Stonemoss, a fae who joins the ranks of a group of fae ruffians called the Black Raven.

There is also an enticing love story to be told. Believing to have been dead from the war, Vignetter is stunned to find out Philo is alive and well. Both must now try to battle the emotions from their previous affair. The fae and humans are forbidden to love.

The show takes mystery to a dark place, as Philo investigates a series of heinous murders in the city. The killings cause turmoil along the Row. Not only must Philo and Vignette harbor their feelings for one another, but Vignette holds a secret that is detrimental to Philo’s case. As the investigation continues a monster comes to light.
