Bindi Irwin is enjoying the simple moments with her daughter.

On Saturday, the Crikey! It's the Irwins star, 25, shared a series of new photos on Instagram of her and 2-year-old Grace getting in some playtime together in their backyard.

In one snap, the pair adorably nuzzled noses, and in another image, Irwin could be seen looking lovingly at her daughter, who smiled for the camera, with a bright blue playhouse in the background. Befitting her family's animal-loving legacy, Grace was wearing an olive green T-shirt printed with the phrase, "Crocs rule!"

"Sweetheart❤️," Irwin wrote of Grace in the post's caption.

Last month, the mother-daughter duo celebrated a special occasion together — Grace's "unbirthday." In honor of the occasion, the little girl was treated to a shopping spree at the Australia Zoo's Elephant Gift Shop. Irwin documented the fun with an Instagram Reel.

"We have a family tradition of celebrating ‘unbirthdays’ when you turn a half ❤️," she explained in the video's caption. "Happy two and a half unbirthday to our beautiful Grace Warrior."

"Grace, you can choose anything you want!" she excitedly told her daughter in the clip, as they walked into the store. Grace quickly scampered around collecting as many stuffed toys as she could manage to hold, while naming the different animals she spotted on the shelves.

Irwin's husband, Chandler Powell, commented on the post, "So much happiness in one video. I love you both ❤️."

In an emotional interview, Irwin recently opened up to PEOPLE about her struggles with endometriosis — a disease in which uterine tissue grows outside of the uterus — and how grateful she is to have Grace, who was born in March 2021.

"I think that every day I wake up and I look at our beautiful daughter and think she is our tiny little miracle and it makes me cry because we were very, very lucky to have her," she said.

"And there was every chance that we wouldn't have been able to have a little one, so to have our beautiful girl, we are so lucky," she added.

Irwin also spoke about how painful it is to have people constantly asking if she and Powell, 26, plan to expand their family.

"I feel like it is a universal question for women, which is heartbreaking because you never know what's going on in someone's life and what's happening behind closed doors," she explained.

"And someone asking you, 'Why aren't you having more children? It's your responsibility to have more children.' It breaks your heart because we all have a different journey and a different story."

To treat her condition, Irwin underwent a laparoscopy last year, during which doctors found 37 lesions and a cyst on her ovary, which she later had surgery to remove. Now that she's recovered from the procedures, she no longer deals with near-constant pain and cramping.

“It’s not like a light switch, but every week I feel like I’m able to do a little bit more,” she told PEOPLE. “Now I wake up in the morning, and I don’t have to take anti-nausea medicine or have my heat pack. Being able to go for a walk with my daughter and not feeling like I have to throw up in the bushes is just wild to me.”

“I feel like I have a second chance at life. I feel brand new," she added.
