Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Is Glowing in a Cottagecore Dress On a Perfect Beach Day

It’s autumn in Australia right now, but that’s not stopping Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell from going to the beach! The wildlife conservationists took their 3-year-old daughter Grace Warrior on a little weekend getaway, and she looked adorable in a cottagecore dress!

“Afternoon on the beach with my best friends. 🩵” Irwin captioned a post on Instagram on Sunday. (Her best friends?! So sweet!) In the first picture, Irwin is smiling on the sand, dressed in a blue button-down shirt with jeans and sneakers as the wind ruffles her hair. She’s resting on her hand as she gazes at her adorable daughter, who is sitting in her lap. Grace is wearing a blue floral dress with pink sneakers, and her brown hair is up in a little bun to keep it out of her eyes. She’s holding a little stuffed giraffe toy in her arms and laughing at something off camera. It’s a moment of sheer bliss.

Irwin also shared a video of Powell teaching Grace how to make a sandcastle. It begins with Powell filling a bucket with sand as Grace bends down to help with her pink plastic shovel (giraffe is still firmly in her grasp, too). Next, Powell turns the bucket upside down and pats it, and Grace follows his lead and pats it too. Then she stands up and smiles as he slowly lifts the bucket up to reveal the mound of sand underneath. It’s the simple things in life that are just so much more special when you can share them with your kids.

Slide 3 is another photo, this time of just Grace as she walks on footprints in the sand with her giraffe. The stunning black-and-white snap looks like something out of a magazine, as Grace smiles and looks down, with her hair softly blowing in the wind. She is beautiful!

This sweet family often goes to the beach together. In January, Bindi shared a photo from a winter trip to a beach in Florida, where Powell is from. She and Grace are hugging on the shore, all bundled up in warm jackets and pants. “Grace Warrior, If one day you come across this post – I want you to know that being your mama is the BEST,” she captioned the adorable photo. “And I love you with all my heart, forever. I have loved every adventure we’ve shared and I can’t wait for many more to come.”

Last May, they took Grace to the Great Barrier Reef, where she wore a wetsuit and kept repeating “Great Barrier Reef!” for the camera. In her tiny Aussie accent, Grace narrated everything, like “sea turtle eggs” and a “lighthouse.” At the end, the tired Grace says, “Welcome to the island! We love you.”

For Grace — and all the Irwins — adventure mode can’t be turned off, and her enthusiasm for the natural world is contagious!
