Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell Celebrate Thanksgiving with Daughter Grace: 'So Much to Be Thankful For'

Irwin and Powell welcomed their daughter Grace in March 2021 after tying the knot exactly one year before in 2020

Bindi Irwin is making holiday memories with her little girl.

The nature conservationist, 25, enjoyed Thanksgiving with daughter Grace Warrior, 2½, and husband Chandler Powell. The family of three posed for a photo on Thursday while Irwin and Powell, 27, also shared a joint Instagram snap.

"So much to be thankful for ❤️," the couple, who tied the knot in 2020, wrote as they displayed beaming smiles at the camera. Grace also appeared to be in great spirits as she smiled while sporting a checkered dress.

Irwin wore a green jacket over a black dress, while Powell was dressed in a dark shirt for the family festivities.

Last month, Irwin shared an Instagram Reel, explaining that the couple took daughter Grace to Australia Zoo's Elephant Gift Shop to go on a stuffed animal shopping spree in celebration of her "unbirthday."

"We have a family tradition of celebrating ‘unbirthdays’ when you turn a half ❤️," she explained. "Happy two and a half unbirthday to our beautiful Grace Warrior."

The video showed the sweet toddler naming the different animals as she perused the selection, holding as many as she could in her arms before passing some off to mom.

"So much happiness in one video. I love you both ❤️," Powell commented.

In her August 2023 PEOPLE cover story, Bindi shared that she underwent surgery for endometriosis — which can negatively impact fertility — and referred to Grace as her and Powell's “tiny little miracle.”

Bindi added that she and Powell “feel so lucky to have Grace.” She explained, "there was every chance that we wouldn't have been able to have a little one, so to have our beautiful girl, we are so lucky."

Grace is growing up around wildlife at the Australia Zoo, where her family lives. Before her daughter was born, Bindi told The Bump, “I know in my heart that she will forge her own path to make our planet a better place through her connections with the gorgeous animals that we protect here at Australia Zoo and the conservation work we do with animal species around the globe.”
