Billy Ocean to Perform His Greatest Hits On 2023 Australian Tour

Celebrated hitmaker Billy Ocean is returning to Australia in 2023 for a theatre tour, playing all of his golden oldies. The British soul icon will perform a set chock-full of greatest hits and crowd favourites, including ‘Love Really Hurts Without You,’ ‘Get Out Of My Dreams, Get Into My Car’ and ‘When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going’.
Ocean’s tour begins on Friday, 16th June at The Star on the Gold Coast. He’ll proceed to visit theatre venues in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide. Full details below.
Billy Ocean – ‘Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car’
The upcoming tour will be Ocean’s first visit to Australia since 2019. “I’m really excited to get back to Australia,” he said in a statement. “Love the people and I can’t wait to get you all on your feet – see you in June!”
Born Leslie Charles in Trinidad in 1950, Ocean moved to the UK at the age of ten and went on to become one of Britain’s most successful pop and soul performers. In a career that stretches back to 1971, Ocean has sold in excess of 30 million records, including six top ten singles and multiple Gold and Platinum albums and singles.
