On Saturday night, Billy Joel and Sting will team up for one epic show at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

The Tampa concert marks the first time these superstars will co-headline a gig. Later this year, they’ll repeat the pairing in San Diego and St. Louis.

When the Tampa Sports Authority announced the news at a press conference with Live Nation in October, Mayor Jane Castor noted the concert “has put us on the national stage.”

Before you head over to enjoy the music, here’s what you need to know.

How do I get tickets for Billy Joel and Sting in Tampa?

Tickets are close to selling out, but seats are still available via Ticketmaster. Verified resale tickets on the site range from $100 to upwards of $8,000. As of time of publication, StubHub had pairs of tickets available starting at $85 per seat.

What are my parking and transportation options for Raymond James Stadium?

Stadium parking lots open at 4 p.m., with the gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Anticipate traffic along Dale Mabry Highway, Himes Avenue, Columbus Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard ahead of the show. The Tampa Sports Authority works with parkwhiz.com, though spots are nearly gone. Prices start around $40. Note that third-party websites like seatgeek.com are not affiliated with the stadium.

Only Lots 8 and 9 on the south end of the stadium will be open for day-of-show parking purchase, along with the Hillsborough Community College lots.

Residents in the nearby neighborhoods frequently rent out their parking spots and driveways to concertgoers. Arrive early to scope for a good space and bring cash.

For those hoping to take public transportation, HART bus routes 7, 15, 32, 36 and 45 service the stadium. Bus stops on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Himes Avenue are a roughly 15-minute walk away. Check gohart.org for route information.

For those planning to get picked up, the George M. Steinbrenner lot across the street from RayJay can be accessed via a pedestrian bridge. As with any stadium show, anticipate potential delays and surge charging with Uber and Lyft.
