Billy Joel fans took to their keyboards Thursday afternoon to wish the Piano Man a happy 75th birthday as he prepared for a special concert at Madison Square Garden.

“Happy 75th birthday to Billy Joel!” announced a social media page operated on behalf of the birthday boy. “What songs are you listening to in celebration?”

Fans joined in, with some of them saying they were looking forward to seeing Joel perform his 148th MSG residency performance Thursday night.

Joel’s X account has been counting down to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee’s 150th and final show at MSG, which takes place July 25.

Fans outside New York City wanting to hear Joel classics like “My Life” and “New York State of Mind” will have a chance to see him perform this summer at Chicago’s Soldier Field, Seattle’s T-Mobile Park and Denver’s Coors Field.

In January, Joel released his first original pop single in 30 years with “Turn the Lights Back On.” His last pop album was 1993’s “River of Dreams.” He put out a new jazz tune in 2007.
