Billy Baldwin is responding to Sharon Stone’s claim that she was pressured to have sex with him to help his “performance” in Sliver.

Baldwin, 61, shared a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday afternoon after she said on the Louis Theroux Podcast that late producer Robert Evans encouraged Stone, 66, to sleep with her costar during the making of the 1993 thriller.

“Not sure why Sharon Stone keep talking about me all these years later?” began Baldwin in the post that featured a photo of the two in a scene from the film.

“Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?”

During the podcast, Stone shared that one day during production, she was called into Evans' office to have a conversation about the chemistry between her and her costar.

"He's running around his office in his sunglasses, explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin's performance would get better," Stone recalled on the podcast. "And we needed Billy to get better in the movie, because that was the problem."

The Basic Instinct actress said that the producer believed if she slept with Baldwin, "then [they] would have chemistry onscreen, and if [she] would just have sex with him, then that would save the movie."

"And the real problem in the movie was me because I was so uptight, and so not like a real actress, who could just f--- him and get things back on track. And the real problem is that I was such a tight ass," Stone said.

The Total Recall actress said Evans insisted on casting Baldwin instead, rather than "listen to the list of actors" that she suggested for the part of Zeke Hawkins.

She also previously shared in her 2021 memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, that she had "actor approval" in her contract.

"No one cared," she explained. "They cast who they wanted. To my dismay, sometimes. To the detriment of the picture, sometimes."
