'SNL' Returns This Weekend
Saturday Night Live returns this weekend after winning at The Emmys, and they've got an excellent duo to kick off the new season. Actor Woody Harrelson is set to host and pop star Billie Eilish is the musical guest, and in the new promo, both prove themselves to be ready to take the stage. In a "Back to School" themed teaser, these two are quick with the jokes.
A Great Line Up
SNL has a great line up already, with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, David Harbour, Kristen Stewart and Eddie Murphy all confirmed to host later in the season. Taylor Swift will serve as the musical guest during Waller-Bridge's episode and Camila Cabello will take the stage during Habour's episode.
Moving On From The Controversy
The cast and crew of SNL is probably ready to move on from the controversy surrounding the hiring and firing of stand up comedian and podcaster Shane Gillis. Gillis was one of three new cast members brought aboard for season 45, but when footage was found of Gillis using racist and homophobic language, he was eventually fired.
