Billie Eilish says she is grieving for 13-year-old she was before fame
The US singer has opened up about fame, saying that in her head nobody knows who she is

Billie Eilish has confessed that she is grieving the 13-year-old girl that she was before she first found fame.
The singer, 21, became a sensation in her teens with tracks like Bad Guy, When The Party's Over and All The Good Girls Go To Hell.
She now has a huge fanbase and addressed how she deals with it all in an interview with Vogue, saying it was "wild".

“In my head, nobody knows who I am," she said. "Nobody knows what I look like.
"I was 13 when I put stuff out for the first time. I look back at who I was, when fewer eyes were on me. I grieve that."
"I strive to be that kid again," added the star.
Singer-songwriter Eilish was just 14 when her debut single Ocean Eyes was unveiled, and she has gone on to become a big name in the music industry and now has more than 107 million followers on Instagram.
Her comments to Vogue are not the only time that she has spoken out about the pressures of fame.
Two years ago, Eilish revealed that it was difficult for her when she was first thrust into the spotlight for Ocean Eyes, and that she wanted to be doing the things that other people her age were doing.
“I hated going outside," the US star told the LA Times at the time.

"I hated going to events. I hated being recognised. I hated the internet having a bunch of eyes on me. I just wanted to be doing teenager s***."
