Billie Eilish drops new album 'Hit Me Hard and Soft.' How close is her tour coming to Florida?
- Oops!Something went wrong.Please try again later.
Billie Eilish' new album "Hit Me Hard and Soft" dropped Friday as a 10-song peek behind the pop-star persona she's built up since becoming a worldwide star at 17. She's in love.
Eilish and her brother Finneas, winners of 9 Grammys and two Academy Awards, dive deep into her head to reveal regrets, desires (expect to see "it's a craving, not a crush" on T-shirts by the end of the day) and inner musings on relationships past, present and future. Also, sex.
No Florida mentions, sorry. That's still all Taylor Swift's journey. And if Floridians want to see Eilish sing about lovers, longings and stalkers live, they'll need to road trip.
Eilish is going global again with an 81-date worldwide tour, but the Sunshine State is not one of the 19 U.S. states she's hitting before heading overseas to Australia, the Netherlands and Europe in a widespread 10-month tour.
Eilish's third album comes hard on the heels of winning just about every award possible for "What Was I Made For?" from the "Barbie" movie soundtrack.
Here's what to know.
When does the Billie Eilish Hit Me Hard and Soft tour begin?
The first show is in Québec on September 29, 2024. Her first U.S. show will be in Baltimore, Maryland on Oct. 4.

Has Billie Eilish performed in Florida?
While Eilish made two stops here in 2020 (Orlando and Miami) on her "Where Do We Go?" world tour, the Sunshine State also got skipped in the 2022 "Happier Than Ever" tour according to concertarchives.org.
But before her first studio album, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" came out, she was performing at the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival at Sunshine Grove on March 3, 2018.
By the following year, she was sharing the stage with Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi and Sam Smith for the Y100 Jingle Ball at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise.
