There were a few major new music releases on March 22, including Shakira‘s “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” Tyla‘s self-titled debut album and Gary Clark Jr.‘s “JPEG Raw.” But it’s Metro Boomin and Future‘s collaboration “We Don’t Trust You” that most Gold Derby users bet on to be number-one on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the tracking week of March 22 through March 28 when that chart is revealed next week.

Hip-hop record producer Metro Boomin is coming off the blockbuster success of his second solo studio album “Heroes and Villains,” which was released in December 2022 and debuted at number-one with 185,000 equivalent album units based on its combined record sales, individual track sales and online streams. It showed impressive staying power on the chart, finishing 2023 as Billboard’s number-six album of the year. As of this writing it’s still in the top 50. Before “Heroes and Villains” Metro Boomin also hit number-one with his 2018 solo debut “Not All Heroes Wear Capes” and his 2020 collab “Savage Mode II” with 21 Savage.

Future, meanwhile, has hit number-one with his last seven solo studio albums in a row, most recently 2022’s “I Never Liked You,” which debuted at the top of the chart with 222,000 album units. His last collaborative album, 2020’s “Pluto x Baby Pluto” with Lil Uzi Vert, debuted at number-two. So how will his latest collab fare against this week’s other new releases and carryovers like Ariana Grande‘s “Eternal Sunshine” and Morgan Wallen‘s unsinkable “One Thing at a Time”? Well, the consensus of our users is that “Sunshine” will be number-two with “One Thing” coming in at number-three. Noah Kahan‘s “Stick Season” is favored to finish fourth, and Shakira’s aforementioned “Las Mujeres” will launch in the number-five slot.
