Bill O’Reilly’s Show Trounces Megyn Kelly’s Appearance On Anderson Cooper’s Show

Bill O’Reilly’s Fox News Channel show whomped Megyn Kelly’s guest appearance on Anderson Cooper’s AC360 last night.

At 8 PM, The O’Reilly Factor clocked 4.6M viewers, with 849K in the news demo. Meanwhile, CNN’s AC360 logged 1.4M and 419K in the key 25-54 age bracket. Cooper’s show did best MSNBC’s performance in the timeslot: 1.24M viewers and 248K news-demo viewers.

Kelly is making appearances on various programs across the TV news landscape, promoting her just-released book Settle For More. On CNN, Kelly and Anderson discussed their shared experience losing their fathers at an early age, her relationship with former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, and the death threats she got after Donald Trump unleashed his Twitter account on her when she asked him to defend having called women dogs, pigs, etc. over the years in a question at the first GOP debate.
