Bill Hader's daughter is making him proud...but maybe not in the way that you'd expect.

While visiting Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday to promote the third season of Barry, Hader — speaking about how his two daughters react to his famous life as celebrity — recalled how he was once eating in a restaurant when Chris Pratt walked in with his wife. After alerting them that yes, that was the Chris Pratt of Guardians of the Galaxy fame, Hader's youngest daughter claimed to know Pratt's son and asked if she could go over and say hello.

Hader was hesitant (because even celebrities have some shame when it comes to bothering other celebrities in public!) but at his daughter's insistence, he approached the table and explained that his daughter knew his son.

"I don't know his son," Hader's daughter immediately told her dad. "You wanted to meet Chris Pratt!"

After doing a very on pointe impression of Pratt looking confused, Hader admitted that "I wanted to strangle her, but I was also never more proud of a kid in my life." When he later asked her why she pulled a fast one on her dad, she simply said that she didn't know.

Hader's response? "You're going to make me so much money," he joked, while Kimmel called her prank a "criminal mastermind."

Hader may never recover from what he called a "solid burn," but at least we know his daughter has a career in some sort of show business — even if it's just the show business of embarrassing her celebrity dad in front of other celebrities.
