Bill Gates has no idea how much regular things cost
Microsoft founder and billionaire Bill Gates visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and because he hasn’t done a lot of grocery shopping for himself recently, Ellen DeGeneres quizzed him on the price of pretty common grocery items.
In a segment that seemed like it belonged on The Price Is Right, the super-rich guy started off by guessing that a box of Rice-A-Roni cost $5. The audience giggled, and when the real price was revealed to be $1, Gates said, “I’ll take five.”
He went on to guess that pizza rolls would cost $22 and Tide Pods were $4. Luckily, Gates has people to shop for him or else he might be overcharged for some very basic items.
