The disgraced Cosby Show star, who was sentenced Tuesday to 3 to 10 years for the sexual assault of Andrea Constand, is officially in the prison system — with a new mugshot in his prison blues to prove it. The 81-year-old comedian and actor, who is legally blind, isn’t looking at the camera. And he’s certainly not smiling — as he was on his way into court this week.

Cosby is currently in the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections’ Phoenix location, in Collegeville, Pa. It’s a brand-new facility — replacing the old Graterford — opened on July 9. The facility has a sex-offender treatment program.

This is the second mugshot we’ve seen since Cosby was sentenced for drugging and sexually assaulting Constand, an administrator on Temple University’s basketball team at the time, in 2004. After the hearing, he was also photographed, wearing a white shirt and suspenders, and he was looking down.

Some 60 women in total have accused “America’s Dad” of sexual misconduct, many with stories similar to Constand’s. Cosby, who was also deemed by the court to be a “sexually violent predator” and fined $25,000 (as well as various court costs), plans to appeal.

Camille Cosby, his wife since 1964, didn’t attend the hearing with her husband on either day. However, she had one of his attorneys read a lengthy statement outside court following the sentencing, claiming prosecutors used “falsified evidence,” citing what she described as a doctored recorded phone call between Cosby and Constand’s mother.

Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele responded during his post-sentencing press conference, saying, “I’ll just say I’m very confident in the place we are. If that’s what they’ve got, it’s beyond a Hail Mary.”
