Bijou Phillips has filed for divorce from Danny Masterson, TMZ reports. The news comes after Masterson was sentenced to 30 years-to-life in prison for the rape of two women.

According to TMZ, Phillips moved to divorce Masterson Monday, September 18th in a California court. The disgraced actor was sentenced to prison on September 7th, facing the maximum sentence after he was found guilty in two counts of forcible rape against two women.

Phillips’ lawyer provided the following statement to journalist Yashar Ali: “Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time. Her priority remains with her daughter. This period has been unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family. Mr. Masterson was always present for Ms. Phillips during her most difficult times of her life. Ms. Phillips acknowledges that Mr. Masterson is a wonderful father to their daughter.”

Phillips and Masterson began dating in 2004 and married in 2011. They share one child together. Both actors are members of the Church of Scientology, as were the three women who accused Masterson of raping them between the years of 2001 and 2003. His alleged victims later accused the church of intimidation and retaliation in order to keep the allegations against Masterson quiet. In 2017, Phillips was accused of body shaming and ridicule by a co-star on the set of the 2001 film Bully

Masterson’s That ’70s Show co-stars Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith, as well as Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, came to his defense during his rape trial. In a character reference addressed to the judge, Kunis described the actor as “an outstanding role model and friend.” Kutcher and Kunis later apologized for the letters.
