Some celebrity splits are more shocking than others. Chance the Rapper and his wife of five years Kirsten Corley calling it quits? Kinda surprising! Young lovers Landon Barker and Charli D'Amelio going their separate ways? Not so much. Either way, the end of a famous relationship is always interesting (and oftentimes, dramatic).

Chance the Rapper and his wife, Kirsten Corley, took to social media on April 3 to announce that they're divorcing.
"After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together," the note read.
Chance and Kirsten began dating in 2013, going on to become first-time parents with the arrival of their daughter Kensli, now 7. They also share 4-year-old daughter Marli.

Tori Spelling filed for divorce from Dean McDermott, her husband of nearly 18 years, on March 29, just a few weeks shy of what would have been the couple’s 18th wedding anniversary. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum identified June 17, 2023, as the date of separation due to irreconcilable differences.
She broke the news to McDermott that she officially filed on the debut episode of her new podcast misSPELLING. “It’s just a one sheet where you check divorce and irreconcilable differences,” she explained. “OK, I love you. OK. Bye.”

The reality star and former basketball player split in February, then briefly reconciled before ending their romance for good. On a March 26 episode of Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’s podcast “Amy and T.J.,” Pippen confirmed that the relationship, which began in 2022, was really over.
“I think when you’re alone, you really kind of miss the person or realize maybe you’re not my guy, and I feel like that made me realize that I don’t think he’s my guy,” she said. “I just think we’re on a different journey, you know, and I feel like I have to be true to who I am and what I’m doing and what he’s doing. I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me.”
She also denied that their age difference (she's 49, he's 33) had anything to do with the split.

After four years of marriage, the pair confirmed their separation on their joint podcast, When Reality Hits, during the Feb. 29 episode.
"Many of you guys have been asking me about Jax and I and our relationship," Cartwright shared. "...On my last podcast I alluded to many marriages go through rocky times. Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I've had a particularly rough year this past year. Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health."
Neither party has formally filed for divorce, so a reconciliation is possible. They're currently starring in the Vanderpump Rules spinoff The Valley.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia in February after 15 months of marriage. The filing referred to their marriage as "irretrievably broken" with "no prospects for a reconciliation." Shortly after news of their split broke, Williams shared a message on Instagram. "Thank you for your prayers & support," it said alongside a broken heart emoji and a prayer-hands emoji.

Robert Irwin and Rorie Buckey announced their breakup on Feb. 16, posting identical Instagram Story messages.
“We wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways but profoundly appreciate all the time spent together and wish one another all the very best into the future,” they wrote. “We wish to express the gratitude and respect we have for one another as we continue our journeys on different paths."
The Australian conservationist (and son of Terri Irwin and the late Steve Irwin), 20, and the niece of late actor Heath Ledger, 19, had been dating for more than a year.

Landon Barker, son of rockstar Travis Barker, and TikTok queen Charli D'Amelio called it quits in February 2024, after more than a year of dating.
"Hey everyone, I would like to let you guys know that Charli and I are no longer together," Barker wrote on IG. "We broke up to focus on ourselves. We are still friends and have so much love for each other."

After more than a year of separation, Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean announced on Jan. 1 that he and his wife, Rochelle, were officially filing for divorce.
They posted a joint statement on their respective Instagrams. "As you all know we have been separated for over a year now," the statement began. "While we have hoped for reconciliation we have decided to officially end our marriage. It is with deep love and respect that we have made this decision."
The couple shares two daughters, Elliott, 11, and Lyric, 7. "Our focus now is moving forward in the healthiest possible way with friendship and coparenting our girls at the forefront of this next chapter," their statement continued. "We appreciate your kindness respect and privacy at this time."

The Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay and her husband, Bryan Abasolo, separated at the tail end of last year, with Abasolo officially filing for divorce on Jan. 2, 2024.
Lindsay, who made history as the first Black person to lead any iteration of ABC’s reality dating franchise when the season aired in 2017—spoke about her relationship with the chiropractor during an interview on fellow former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe’s “Off the Vine” podcast.
“When we came off the show, you feel the pressure of having to show people how we’re doing,” the attorney and TV personality said in August 2023, while explaining that she and the doctor have kept their romance more private in recent years.
“There were months that went by where Bryan and I didn’t post and everyone assumed that we were breaking up. They were counting how long it had been since we posted each other and how long it had been since we liked each other’s posts,” she said at the time. “I don’t even pay attention to that stuff, I’m too present in real life. I’m a terrible social media person."
