The Biggest Bravo Breakups of 2024 So Far

2024 has only just begun, but some couples rang in the New Year with malice instead of champagne. While it must be hard to keep a healthy relationship going on reality TV, some dynamite couples really took a hit. Throughout the years, we have seen the Real Housewives who marry older men for their money, and it hasn’t worked. We have witnessed the young stud try to play multiple women on Summer House, and it hasn’t worked. We have also seen the Bravo women gain a voice when they hadn’t had one for many years. So, sometimes, a breakup is needed to save both parties from having a miserable existence. I just wasn’t ready for so many so quickly.

RHOBH – Kyle/Mauricio

In July 2023, news broke that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple to beat, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, had chosen to separate. Even though they released a statement denying their troubles and were snapped on a family vacation in Aspen, the couple later admitted they had gone their separate ways after 27 years of marriage. As Season 13 played out, fans watched as Kyle prioritized what she wanted out of life, and it wasn’t Mau.

Instead, Kyle jumped into the arms of country singer Morgan Wade, started obsessively exercising, and gave up drinking. The season finale showed the couple talking to their children about possibly divorcing, but no decision has been made yet. As the Season 13 reunion airs, fans are getting crumb-sized details about Mau and Kyle’s marriage, but not everything is adding up as to why they would throw away what looked like a pretty decent marriage.

Summer House – Danielle/Joe Bradley and Sam/Kory

Let me tell you, I would never date Joe Bradley. He has about a hundred red flags and can’t even tell the truth to his friends. But we all know Danielle Olivera has been on quite the rollercoaster ride after her breakup with the chef, who can’t be named, so let’s give her a break. These two hooked up in January 2024, announcing their courtship on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, but it was short-lived as four months later, they were just friends, and Joe had gone on to hook up with Luann de Lesseps.

Now, Sam Feher and Kory Keefer were a horse of a different color. The Jersey girl and Charlotte native seemed pretty made for each other since both were pretty eccentric, but naturally, Kory had to ruin it all when he appeared on Winter House. The gym owner pretended he didn’t have an existing relationship and allowed Malia White to flirt with him constantly. So once Sam watched the season, she knew she had to break up with him as her New Year’s resolution.

RHOA – Porsha/Simon

What in the sweet peach tea is going on in the Bravoverse?? Almost as soon as it was announced that Porsha Williams was back in the Real Housewives of Atlanta, she shared that she was no longer Mrs. Guobadia. I mean, what a way to make a comeback. The couple had a sketchy start at best, with most fans feeling Porsha swopped in and stole a married man. After only 15 months of marriage, Porsha filed for divorce.

Simon has recently been in the news for his scamming ways, but Porsha maintained that wasn’t the reason for the split. At least fans know she is going to have one hell of a storyline this season!

Vanderpump Rules/The Valley – Jax/Brit

Call it a stunt for The Valley, or call it common sense, but Brittany Cartwright announced that she and Jax Taylor were taking time apart for her mental health and that she would be moving into her own home. However, the timing does seem a bit sus as Brittany confirmed that filming had ended in October, but Bravo cameras picked back up this past week to film the breakup. It feels very much like they are taking a page out of Vanderpump Rules. But as most fans would say, “Leave him!” because Jax was never good enough for the Kentucky princess.
