The show introduced a novel concept of “dil, dimaag, and dum.” With 17 celebrity contestants, the show has managed to capture the hearts of millions since its inception. The first week was marked by suspense, drama, and surprising twists, as there was no elimination. This revelation left viewers eager for what the second week would bring.
In a dramatic turn of events on October 24, 2023, Bigg Boss 17 introduced one of the most captivating nomination processes to date. Three rooms, namely Dil, Dimag, and Dum, divided the housemates. Each room had equal participation in the nomination process. However, this week’s nominations came with a twist, reshuffling the contestants and sparking tension among them.

Munawar Faruqui added his own unique twist by performing a mushaira and announcing the final six nominated contestants through his performance. The list included Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Tehelka (Sunny Aryya), Soniya Bansal, Sana Raees Khan, and Khanzaadi.
Before the nominations began, Bigg Boss reshuffled the contestants, transferring Mannara Chopra from the Dil room to the Dimag room. This shift added more unpredictability to the nominations. The Dimag room now consisted of Munawar Faruqui, Khanzaadi, and Mannara Chopra, while the Dum room included Anurag Dobhal, Sana Raees Khan, and Arun Mashettey.

The nomination procedure commenced with Bigg Boss instructing the Dum room to select eight contestants of their choice for nominations. Unbeknownst to them, the Dimag room contestants were watching their choices. As a result, the Dum room nominated Munawar Faruqui, Rinku Dhawan, Navid Sole, Khanzaadi, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Isha Malviya, and Abhishek Kumar.
The Dil room had the task of saving two contestants from this list. In conclusion, Abhishek Kumar and Isha Malviya were saved among the nominated contestants. This decision left Munawar Faruqui surprised and disappointed, as he thought his friends, Vicky and Ankita, would save him. Instead, they chose to save Neil and Aishwarya, whom they had conflicts with. Later, the Dimag room reshuffled the nominees, saving three and nominating three others.
Bigg Boss 17 contestants have been getting votes online from the audience. With the recent trends, Aishwarya Sharma has been leading with the most votes. With the revelation of the bottom three contestants, Sana might be the first one to leave the show as a result.
