The plot revolves around former police officer Jenny Hoyt and private detective Cassie Dewell, as they investigate various crimes and illegal activities in Montana. Season 1 premiered on November 17, 2020, to mixed to positive reviews. The third season aired from September 21, 2022, to January 18, 2023. Is there a Big Sky Season 4 release date?
There is no Big Sky Season 4 release date as the series was canceled after three seasons.
In May 2023, about four months after the season 3 finale aired, ABC canceled Big Sky along with two other drama shows: Alaska Daily and The Company You Keep, likely due to decreasing viewership numbers. Before that, in January 2023, series star Katheryn Winnick posted a couple of photos with co-star Jensen Ackles. “That’s a wrap on BIG SKY 3. Hope to see you all next year,” she wrote in the caption, implying that she was hoping for another season.
