Netflix has shared the trailer for the seventh and penultimate season of Nick Kroll’s puberty-themed animated comedy, Big Mouth, and this time, things are “getting real sexy” with the help of guest stars Megan Thee Stallion, Lupita Nyong’o, Billy Porter, and more. Watch the trailer below.

With 10 episodes set to premiere globally on October 20th, Big Mouth Season 7 will see the students of the show’s fictional Bridgeton Middle School as they make the tricky transition into high school. According to the press release, “change is the only constant” for the show’s characters as they navigate going to a new school, making new friends, facing new foes, and overcoming new Hormone Monsters.

Set to reprise their roles are series regulars Kroll, John Mulaney, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, Jordan Peele, and more. Joining the cast — in addition to Mega, Nyong’o, and Porter — is a fun list of guest stars, including Rosie Perez, Zach Galifianakis, Randall Park, Beck Bennett, Thandiwe Newton, and others. Lin-Manuel Miranda even contributed a new original song.

The trailer sets the stage for Season 7, opening with a shimmering set of lips in the sky, which open to reveal a long tongue and the Hormone Monster voiced by Megan. As she slides down, Rudolph’s Connie the Hormone Monster exclaims: “Sweet salami in a pair of stilettos, is that Megan Thee Stallion?” In response, Megan opines that “it’s a big motherfucking deal they got me on the show,” before saying: “I ain’t gonna lie, it’s getting real sexy.”

Big Mouth first premiered in 2017, and has since expanded into a full-on animated universe. The show’s spin-off series, Human Resources, debuted in March 2022, and returned for a second season this past June, which featured guest appearances from Florence Pugh, Miley Cyrus, and others.

Kroll, who is an executive producer for Big Mouth, recently extended Mel Brooks’ “naughty, insane” legacy by producing and starring in the series History of the World, Part II, which premiered on Hulu this past March. Last year, Kroll explained that he plans on working until he’s “very old, out of touch, and no longer funny at all.”
