'Big Little Lies' Star Meryl Streep Gets 'Big' Send Off During Filming of Final Scene

We won't spoil anything about the episode and what happened below — but you should DEFINITELY watch it.

HBO's second season finale of 'Big Little Lies' has finally aired, and video of Meryl Streep's final scene wrapping has surfaced — and even it would make her cold-hearted character Mary Louise's heart grin.

In the video, Streep (who plays the mother-in-law to Nicole Kidman's character), is seen being presented with cakes and applause for what seems to be her final scene. During the celebration, production ushers in four cakes adorned with loved filled messages as, "We Love You!", "Meryl", and a tongue-in-cheek "Good Riddance".

But Streep wasn't the only ones wrapping up that day of production. Twins Cameron and Nicholas Crovetti who play Kidman's sons, Josh and Max respectively, also got their own congratulatory cake saying, "Cameron & Nicholas Thank you."

In the video, Kidman (who plays Celeste Wright) appears to get on her knees to give praise to the iconic actress. Laura Dern (Renata Klein), Reese Witherspoon (Madeline Mackenzie), and Shailene Woodley (Jane Chapman) are present, and get some love from Meryl as well.

"Big Little Lies" is based on a novel by Liam Moriarty, and premiered in HBO in February 2017.

The story follows five women who live in Monterey, California, who become involved in a murder investigation around Kidman's abusive husband played by Alexander Skarsgård. Adam Scott, James Tupper, and Jeffrey Nordling are also part of the star-studded cast.

The show was met with critical acclaim for the first season, receiving 16 Emmy Award nominations — winning eight which included Outstanding Limited Series and acting awards for Kidman, Skarsgård, and Dern.

Also, the show grabbed a few Golden Globe Awards for the series.

A third season has not yet been announced.
