The classic Coen brothers film is being honored on its 25th anniversary year with an auction by Julien’s Auctions and Turner Classic Movies (TCM).

“The Big Lebowski: The Complete Storyboards Auction” is being held as part of TCM’s celebration of Hollywood legends, which takes place from Dec. 14 to Dec. 17 in Beverley Hills and online.

The auction is selling 250 items of memorabilia and costumes from the movie on day three of the event. These include the jockey T-shirt and bathrobe Jeff Bridges wore in character as “The Dude” throughout the film, along with sunglasses, and a signed bowling ball by Bridges from the set.

The complete storyboards for the film, created by artist J. Todd Anderson, are also being auctioned with title credits that include the “Grocery Store scene” and the “Home Invasion Scene.”

“It’s wonderful to be here and celebrate the Turner Classic Movies," Bridges, 73, said ahead of the auction in a video published Monday. "I’m so happy they’re all about preserving these amazing films — Lebowski being one of them,”

“And the fact that Julian’s auction is making it possible for all you guys out there who love their favorite movies to get a little piece of that,” the actor added.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the cult hit The Big Lebowski.

The crime-comedy, directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, tells the story of the hilarious misadventures of Bridges' slacker character “The Dude” whose identity is mistaken for another man who owes money to kingpin Jackie Treehorn (played by Ben Gazzara).

The movie also stars Sam Elliott, John Goodman, Julianne Moore, Steve Buscemi, John Turturro, Tara Reid, and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

In May, Bridges told PEOPLE that he would be open to a sequel to The Big Lebowski. “Oh God! If the brothers were involved, I certainly would," the actor said at the time.

"The brothers, they're mysterious and full of surprises. You don't know what they're going to do, so since they're surprising, I don't think they'll make a sequel. But like I say, they're surprising, so maybe they'll surprise me and make a sequel,” Bridges added.
